As the lights go dark on Ricky, he knows he has fallen, he knows he has sinned, but what he doesn't know is where he ends up in the afterlife. Welcome to the Hotel New York!

Long Synopsis
How does one know where one has ended up in the afterlife, Heaven? Hell? Director Shome Banerjee has given an experimental vision to the afterlife and his interpretation of Hell. Ricky has committed a sin, he knows it as he seeks for redemption, seeks for forgiveness till his life is taken. He is introduced to a world where nothing makes sense but he tries to find familiarity in the people he meets till he realizes that he is dead and has woken up in Hell. He has been lured by the devil into her lair, where he can check out any time he likes but he cannot leave. Welcome to the Hotel New York.

Le réalisateur Shome Banerjee partage sa vision de l’au-delà et sa conception de l’enfer dans une œuvre expérimentale. Lorsque sa vie a été prise Ricky savait qu’il lui faudrait expier son terrible péché jusqu’à la fin de ses jours. Lorsque ses yeux s’ouvrent à nouveau, il découvre un monde plein d’étrangetés et il finit par se rendre compte qu’il est emprisonné dans l’entre du diable: l’Hôtel New York.
